Currently diagnosis of conduct disorder tend to be dominated by categorical approach to overcome diagnostic ambiguity. Also many researchers try to divide the class into subtype to identify how this disorder unfold.
There are many comorbid & risk factors in the development of conduct disorder. Among them, skill deficit, early substance use & sexual promiscuity, depression, male gender, difficult temperament * attention deficit hyperactivity disorder are
considered
important comorbid & risk factors. Those factors may be concomitants of conduct disorder that may share a common etiology, or may potentiate future conduct disorder.
In order to understant how the disorder unfold, to prevent its onset, & to provide treatment, it is important to know how each factors interplay, & needed further researches in biological, psychological & sociological aspects.
